Okay, I’m looking for some opinions on several baitcasters. I’ve got the rod all figured out. I’m getting a 7′1" Gloomis Mossyback heavy power casting rod. Its going to be my primary jigging/worming rod. I’ll use it a lot for flipping/pitching and deep water jigging.

I can’t decide what to put on it though. I’m looking at three different options.
1) Abu Garcia Revo STX
I have a Revo SX HS that i bought last season and i’ve used it for a little more than a half season. So far so great. The smoothest reel i have owned by far. It fits in my hand great and I love casting with it.

2) Quantum PT Energy
The new quantums really have my eye. They have slimed down there profile so they are not as big as the older PTs. I’ve yet to fish with a Quantum so it is somewhat of an unknown for me.

3) Shimano Curado
The new Curados finally fixed their biggest flaw in 2009. They made the reel housing smaller and actually added capacity to the reel. Its hard to beat the Curado as far as reputation goes.

I can get each of these three at about the same price. The PT will be about $15-$20 cheaper than the Curado or the STX. What are everyone’s opinions?
